Abstract
In this work the effect of
chemistry on mechanical behaviour of α titanium alloys was investigated. Optical microscopy, X ray
diffraction and electron backscatter diffraction were used to characterise the microstructure and texture development during
quasi static compression test i n rolling direction, normal direction and 45°. The effect of tin concentration on lattice constant
and how microstructure and texture change with content of tin was looked into..
