Abstract

Collecting and measurement of radiation ionization is the most important in radiation detectors. In this work, two electrodes made of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) as collecting electrodes that have a 2 mm air gap. Some characteristics of the electrodes such as leakage current and reproducibility are investigated. The polarization effects, besides voltage effect and linearity are also verified. All tests are performed using a 60Co gamma radiation source.
