Abstract

The present day widely used optical amplifiers, in spite of its numerous merits, are exorbitant to use and require maintenance, thus making network designers to recrudesce techniques to minimize the number of amplifiers for cost effective solution. In this paper, the count of the amplifiers has been reduced in proposed hybrid network topology by optimize its placement and further observed the acceptable performance. Last as soon as possible scheme has been employed for amplifiers gain splitting and its placement..
