Abstract

The structural and magnetic properties of the ferrites (Li0.5Fe0.5)1-xCuxFe2O4 (where x=1, 0.5 and 0.1) have been investigated by means of X-ray diffraction (XRD), IR spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and magnetic measurements. The experimental results show the possibility of obtaining the mixed lithium-copper ferrites with cubic structure at room temperature. The size of the crystallites ranges between 30-60 nm.
