Abstract
Composite Zn-Ni-TiO2 layers were electrodeposited on steel, from a commercial electrolyte containing suspended TiO2 nanoparticles. Structure, morphology and chemical composition of the Zn-Ni films were studied by XRD and SEM-EDAX methods, and corrosion resistance was evaluated by electrochemical measurements. The influence of TiO2 nanoparticles concentration in the electrodeposition bath on the structural, morphological and corrosion properties is discussed..
