Abstract
Porous ZnO/TiO 2 photocatalyst was prepared from porous TiO 2 coupling with ZnO by marinating method The photocatalytic
activity was investigated by photocatalytic degradation of bromamine acid aqueous solution in the sun. The effects of ZnO adulterant proportion, the initial concentration of the bromamine acid aqueous solution and different light sources on the
activity of the photocatalyst were discussed. The results suggest that in the sun, when the ZnO adulterant propor tion was 1%,
the activity of the porous ZnO/TiO 2 photocatalyst was satisfying and superior to that of the porous TiO 2 . When the initial
concentration of the bromamine acid aqueous solution was lower than 100mg/L, the result of photocatalytic degradation wa s
better. The removal rate of chroma reached almost 100% and the removal rate of TOC over 75%. T he photocatalyst had a
better activity under the sunlight than the UV light..
