Synthesis of cuboid PbZr0.52Ti0.48O3 nanocrystals by hydrothermal method

Abstract

PbZr0.52Ti0.48O3 nanocrystals were prepared by a hydrothermal method using ammonia solution as a pH-adjusting agent. The PbZr0.52Ti0.48O3 nanocrystals were analyzed by XRD, FESEM, TEM and PFM techniques. The single-crystal PbZr0.52Ti0.48O3 nanocrystals with cuboid morphology were prepared by the hydrothermal method at 200 oC for 20 h. The existence of ferroelectric nanodomains confirmed that the cuboid PbZr0.52Ti0.48O3 nanocrystals had ferroelectric properties.
