Abstract

The nanostructured glassy semiconductor As0.63S2.70Sb1.37Te0.30 was synthesized and thin films of this material were obtained. The physical and structural properties of the bulk material and thin layers were characterized using SEM-EDX electron microscopy, XRD diffraction, and micro-Raman. Detailed investigations showed the amorphous and homogeneous nature of the samples. The average coordination number of the composite of 2.4 and the electrons lone pair of 3.2 were determined.
